Samantha's Talent Show Outfit

I have decided to get a few of the short story outfits before they are gone. I ordered Josephina's Weaving Outfit, which has been mentioned on here as probably being the next short story outfit to go. I talked with someone in CS about it when I was exchanging an outfit, I asked her if she would look up the weaving outfit, and she confirmed that it did say it was low in stock. I first wanted to throw that out to anyone thinking of getting it. Sorry, a bit off topic. Anywho, I am going to order Addy's Cape Island outfit, Kit's Treehouse outfit, and Samantha's Talent Show outfit as well. I do not have Josephina, Addy, or Samantha as of right now, but I figure it is a good idea to buy them so I have them when I eventually purchase the dolls. But my main question is I saw that in a previous post that they felt Samantha's outfit was so-so and the material was not so great, or "uncomfortable" looking. I was wondering if anyone had the outfit, and what they thought about it overall. I feel like I'm in a pickle because I don't want to miss out on it for when I do get Samantha, but I don't want to spend the money on it if it's not worth it. So if anyone out there could tell me, that would be great. Thanks!

Samantha's Talent Show dress is the most beautiful dress she owns! The fabric is taffeta-like and it fits my Samantha well. Maybe the person who didn't like it has a fuller-figured PM Samantha?

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about the Talent Show dress. Are you sure it was Samantha's dress and not a different a different outfit that wasn't liked?

I'm also a fan of the talent show dress, and I definitely recommend getting the short story sets now if you think you'll ever want them. I coded that entire generation of sets last March, and I'm so glad I did because they seem to be disappearing quickly and they're great sets. The fabric on Samantha's dress is definitely different than most other AG sets, but it's really pretty and the details on the dress are wonderful.

I think that it is one of the better outfits that they have made for samantha.. very historically correct in design and fabric. I think it is acutally dupini silk... or a very very good imitation, much better than the fake silk they used in Elizabeth's tea gown.

I do think one person did post that this was not one of their favorite Samantha outfits. They didn't like the feel of fabric. This is actually one of my favorite Samantha outfits. It looks very historically accurate and is adorable on her. One of her prettiest outfits. It is a good imitation of duponi silk. I would highly recommend this outfit!!

I love that outfit. The only AG outfit I'd say to avoid is the infamous [img]smile.gif[/img] Samantha's Brides Maid's dress.

I just changed Sam into this outfit yesterday!
She looks sooooo nice in it!
The quality is excellent and the dress is all out pretty.
I would get it if I did not already have it!

I feel like it's a race between my paychecks and AG stock! Who will win? Think it will last two more weeks?
